I recently purchased a pricey item, and honestly, it didn’t meet my expectations, so I reached out for some guidance. I wasn’t looking to complain or ask for a refund—just needed a bit of assistance. What did I get? Zilch, just an automated message saying they usually get back to you in two business days. Well, two weeks later, and still no word from them. It’s really frustrating. Like others have pointed out, once they’ve got your cash, they seem to disappear. I’ve shopped with them before, and this is the first time I’ve sought help, but from now on, I’ll be getting my baking supplies from somewhere else.

I had some inquiries regarding a big and pricey oven I was buying, and they responded to my questions with great patience and detail! I'm also getting some other baking supplies that I couldn't locate anywhere else. What a wonderful shop with fantastic service. I definitely recommend it!! : ) Thanks a bunch.

I was in the market for some big baking tins, and I found that BakeryBits had branded ones for 20% less than what Amazon was offering, so I decided to give them a shot after checking out some reviews on Trust Pilot. The feedback was all over the place, but I went ahead and placed my order on a Monday. Turns out, I accidentally left out part of my address. I called up customer service, and a really nice lady sorted it out right away. I got update emails from both BakeryBits and DPD, and the fantastic products showed up this morning, just two days after I ordered! Pretty impressive!

They've got some cool and unique items, but they ain't shipping to the EU anymore due to Brexit. Sadly, we had to change things up and divide our orders among different suppliers in the EU.

I was on the hunt for Marriages wholemeal flour, which I couldn't find at the supermarket anymore (thanks to the first Covid lockdown). Then I discovered Bakerybits online! I’m really pleased with this company; their values, sourcing, and selection are impressive, especially for those who love baking bread. I’m using it for making roti. I decided to give the Organic wholemeal Enkir flour a shot, along with a few others (it's one of the oldest wheat varieties out there), and it turned out to be perfect for fluffy blueberry muffins. The Enkir flour has a nice sweetness, so I just tossed in a tiny bit of sugar the next time. So tasty! They offer a wide range of flours at great prices, perfect for serious bakers who really put in the effort, as well as for those delicate brioches. Everything was packed up nicely and arrived in just a few days. Couldn’t be happier! :-))

I've been placing orders with them for a good while now, and I've always been pleased.

There was one time I thought I was missing something (turns out it was a tiny item that got lost in all the packing materials). I mentioned it, and just two hours later, I got a notification that the item was being reordered... then a few hours after that, I found the missing piece and let them know, so they canceled the order. This just shows that their customer service actually reads emails and responds appropriately, rather than following some scripted response that doesn’t really address your problem.

So, great product, excellent customer support, and solid packaging.

I’m super pleased with Bakery Bits. They’ve got an awesome selection of ingredients that I had a tough time locating in the UK. Prices are quite fair too. My order arrived the very next working day. If every online shop operated like these folks, shopping online would be way more enjoyable.

I placed my order last Monday, and I’m still waiting for any dispatch info or tracking details like the order confirmation said I would get. It’s been 8 days, and after sending 3 emails to follow up, my order is still not even processed. Just steer clear.

What a nightmare! I ended up asking for a refund. They really dropped the ball on this one - all because of a few extra words on their site that don’t even say 'last orders 3pm,' which is just ridiculous! The customer service was pretty condescending and a bit full of themselves. Unfortunately, they’ve lost me as a customer, along with a few others from my group.

Let me share my experience,

I thought I was stuck in the Ice Age with the service I got. Initially, the delivery took way longer than I thought it would, but after I shot off an email for an update, the package finally showed up a few days later. (It felt like the courier, you know, the one with the bright yellow logo, was one of the worst I’ve dealt with personally.)

I was blown away, and I don’t use that term lightly, because I honestly didn’t think such service still existed. The package was packed so well, hats off to you, Robert F. The floors were wrapped with such care; I still can’t wrap my head around it as I write this, especially since the parcel arrived just last week.

I just wish BABERYBITS would branch out and sell other things too (like electronics, furniture, you name it), because I’d be all in on that.

Maybe you think I’m overreacting, but honestly, I didn’t expect this level of packaging for an online order.

Awesome company to work with. I had a defective item (not their fault) and it got swapped out the very next day. They took care of the delivery and pickup without any hassle... KUDOS TO BAKER BITS.

I picked up a couple of brotforms and a planche, and I gotta say, the quality is top-notch! They’re just right for my home projects. Plus, I haven’t been bombarded with marketing emails from them, which is a nice breath of fresh air. Honestly, I can’t figure out what they could improve on.

I placed an order for a kruskavel and some flour right before the covid19 lockdown. Sadly, b/bits couldn't process the order due to import issues. I held onto my order, wishing things would get better, and made a few inquiries but got nowhere. Six months down the line, I finally got the complete order. Big shoutout to Patrick and Bakery Bits! With businesses like yours, I’m really glad I didn’t lose hope. Keep up the awesome work, and thanks a ton!

Delivery was super quick. Everything was packed nicely. I goofed up my order, and they were incredibly helpful in fixing it. I’d totally recommend them.
